Qui abbandoniamo il sentiero per il passo Clopaca e volgiamo invece a destra dapprima a mezzacosta quindi, attraversato un ruscello, prendendo a salire in maniera più diretta verso l'ormai evidente sagoma della nostra montagna. Guadagnatane la cresta meridionale (tracce di sentiero) volgiamo a sinistra e per un buon tratto ne seguiamo il filo, salvo piegare poi leggermente a sinistra sino a toccare i 2249 metri del Monte Arià.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Guadagnata nuovamente la traccia di sentiero che solca il versante meridionale del Monte Arià ci abbassiamo tra la vegetazione lungo l'opposto versante. Attraversato un valloncello imbocchiamo un piccolo sentiero che più avanti risulterà attrezzato con alcune funi metalliche ed un paio di scalette. Sempre procedendo a mezzacosta ci andiamo a ricongiungere con la mulattiera (segnavia 550) che risale la Val Clarea in direzione del Colle Clapier. Volgendo a destra e seguendone il tracciato raggiungiamo facilmente il fondovalle dove un ultimo tratto di rotabile ci riconduce all'auto.</font></span><font size="2"><span style="font-weight:
