Valicato il ponte volgiamo a destra per poi piegare a sinistra al primo bivio mentre al secondo crocevia prendiamo invece a destra seguendo le indicazioni per l'alpe Briolo. Lasciatoci l'alpeggio sulla destra proseguiamo ancora per una tratto sulla strada sterrata che piega nuovamente a sinistra; pervenuti ad un valloncello, poco prima della fine della vegetazione, abbandoniamo la strada tenendoci progressivamente a destra uscendo dalle ultime betulle ad andando ad afferrare l'ampio pendio che risaliamo in direzione della dorsale. Seguendone il filo superiamo un paio di brevi rampe oltre le quali, aggirata sulla sinistra una modesta gibbosità, tocchiamo la Cima dell' Asnass (mt. 2040 - 3h 15'). Sempre percorrendo lo spartiacque discendiamo lungo l'opposto versante sino allla Bocchetta Balma dell Basse (mt. 1908) da dove riprendiamo a salire. Tenendoci prevalentemente sulla sinistra della dorsale (non per motivi "tecnici" ma per le migliori condizioni della neve) guadagnamo anche la Punta dello Scaletto (mt. 2046 - 45' dalla Cima dell'Asnass).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400">In assenza di neve la difficoltà dell'intera salita può considerarsi E.<br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Riguadagnata la Bocchetta Balma delle Basse discendiamo direttamente sulla nostra destra, puntando al fondo del vallone mantenendoci alti su di esso e piegando progressivamente a sinistra. Al termine di un lungo diagonale perveniamo ad una strozzatura del vallone poco oltre la quale incrociamo la strada sterrata che, mantenendosi sulla sinistra idrografica del vallone, va ad incrociarsi
