Qui il sentiero si fa più stretto e continua a risalire l'ampia dorsale sino al suo culmine. Aggirate sulla sinistra le sommittà del Segnale del Lamet e della Punta Lamet continuiamo a seguire la traccia onde risalire le ultime rocce che difendono i 3505 metri di quest'ultima. Procedendo lungo la cresta di rocce rotte che volge decisamente ad est ci portiamo nei pressi di una depressione dalla quale, volgendo a sinistra, procediamo su sfasciumi sino a porre piede sul sottostante Ghiacciaio di Roche Michel. Sempre procedendo in direzione est superiamo un primo dosso riprendendo quindi subito a salire lungo l'ampio pendio che non oppone più alcuna difficoltà sino ai 3429 metri della Roche Michel (4 h 45'). Ripercorrendo a ritroso i nostri passi raggiungiamo nuovamente la base della cuspide terminale della Punta Lamet che tosto aggiriamo sulla destra sin nei pressi della successiva depressione. Qui abbandoniamo la traccia ed un breve pendio di rocce rotte ci consente di toccare i 3431 metri del Segnale del Lamet. Un facile pendio ci separa dalla vicinissima sommittà del Segnale del Lago (mt. 3428). Raggiunte nuovamente le costruzioni militari abbandoniamo la mulattiera continuando per cresta e, aggirato sulla sinistra un primo risalto roccioso, tocchiamo anche la Punta Baraccon de Chamois (mt.
