A questo punto volgiamo a destra guadagnando bem presto una dorsale che ci apre la vista verso la nostra montagna. Dopo un breve tratto lungo la dorsale stessa riprendiamo il traverso a mezzacosta; superato un settore attrezzato ci dirigiamo verso l'evidente rifugio BARONE (mt. 1610, provvisto di ricovero invernale) che ci lasciamo sulla sinistra per piegare progressivamente a destra. Guadagnando quota lungo il pendio puntiamo alla cresta soprastante; piegando a sinistra risaliamo lungo lo spartiacque. Nell'ultimo tratto la pendenza si accentua un pochino ma l'unica difficoltà è rappresentata dalla neve. La cresta si assottiglia un pò proprio in corrispondenza della panoramica cima del Monte Barone (mt. 2044 - 3h 15') ma non oppone alcun ostacolo.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight:
