Qui volgiamo a sinistra, attraversando il torrente su di un ponte sito appena sotto la diga ed incrociando poi una sterrata che conduce agli alpeggi di Porchere Inferiore (mt. 2094) e Tsa di Porchere (mt. 2298). A questo punto tagliamo il pendio erboso sulla sua sinistra raggiungendo un ruscelletto da cui riprendiamo a salire seguendo gli ultimi tornanti che conducono al comodo e panoramico bivacco SAVOIE/ROSAZZA (mt. 2650 - h 2 e 45'). Il giorno seguente risaliamo il pendio nevoso che conduce al colle di Valsorey (mt. 3107 - 1 h) e che a stagione inoltrata è percorso da una traccia di sentiero contrassegnata da ometti in pietra. Dal valico volgiamo a sinistra dove, sempre seguendo gli ometti, il pendio detritico culmina sui 3323 metri del Mont Cordine. Abbassandoci lungo l'opposto versante ci portiamo al col de Chamois (mt. 3314) cui in ultimo accediamo avvalendoci di una corda fissa. Sempre seguendo la cresta rocciosa superiamo un paio di risalti (II grado) che costituiscono l'ultimo ostacolo prima di toccare il Mont Capucin (mt. 3395). A questo punto ci tocca perdere nuovamente un pò di dislivello onde portarci sul ghiacciaio di Valsorey; una prima gobba la superiamo da destra verso sinistra guadagnando il tratto più pianeggiante che costeggia alla base i Denti del Velan che ci lasciamo sulla sinistra. Dopo una breve diagonale a destra superiamo direttamente una seconda gobba (45° max) che adduce alla cupola ghiacciata del Mont Velan (mt. 3708 - h 3 e 15' dal bivacco).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Lungo l'itinerario di salita. Giunti in prossimità della cresta del M.Capucin ci abbassiamo sulla nostra sinistra seguendo il ghiacciaio e costeggiando alla base le sagome del M. Capucin e del M. Cordine, raggiungendo una spalla di quest'ultimo sita poco al di sopra del colle di Valsorey; tale risalita la effettuiamo lungo un pendio di ottima neve.</font></span><font size="2"><span è preferibile effettuarla con buone condizione di innevamento, altrimenti il superamento di diversi crepacci vanifica il risparmio di tempo ottenibile aggirando i saliscendi della
