Toccato l'alpe Chaligne (mt. 1934) prendiamo a salire i ripidi pendii sulla sua destra andando ad incrociare nuovamente la rotabile prima dell'ultimo traverso che conduce l'alpe Chaz de Chaligne (mt. 2225). Superato il seguente valloncello puntiamo alla cresta posta sulla sinistra della nostra montagna. Una volta raggiuntala la pendenza si accentua sensibilmente per poi abbattersi nuovamente appena prima dei 2607 metri della Punta Chaligne. Volgendo ad est e guadagnata la sottostante depressione risaliamo il facile pendio che in pochi minuti ci consente di toccare anche la vicina Pointe de la Metz (mt. 2553).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Riguadagnata la depressione compiamo un lungo traverso lasciandoci sulla sinistra la Punta Chaligne ed andando a ricongiungerci con l'itinerario di salita nei pressi del punto in cui abbiamo raggiunto la cresta. Lasciatoci sempre sulla sinistra l'alpeggio Chaz de Chaligne sfruttiamo per la discesa il sottostante valloncello che fedelmente seguiamo fino all'alpe Chaligne ove ritroviamo la
