Qui ci lasciamo sulla destra le sagome rocciose della Rocca de l'Homme e della Rocca de la Femme; una volta superatele volgiamo a destra e risaliamo nevosi pendii più o meno ripidi sino ai 2659 metri del Roc de Jany. Piegando a destra ci portiamo alla base di un altro pendio di ottima neve che ha termine a breve distanza dai 3047 metri del Rocher d'Argentier. Dalla sommità pieghiamo nuovamente a destra, percorrendo la facile cresta che ci separa dalla Punta Nera (mt. 3040). Volgendo a sud percorriamo, in discesa, la cresta di rocce e neve fino a poca distanza dall'ultima cima che ci siamo prefissati di raggiungere quest'oggi.
