Toccato un piccolo gruppo di case ci innalziamo lungo il bel sentiero (segnavia 3) che risale il bosco di conifere. Ad un bivio volgiamo a destra (segnavia 3B) compiendo un paio di tornanti ed un traverso al termine del quale, ad un altro bivio, imbocchiamo la diramazione di sinistra ed usciamo dalla vegetazione. Il sentiero risale il pendio erboso toccando la Madonnina sita sul belvedere di Tsaplanaz (mt. 2659) ove termina per lasciare il posto ad una vaga traccia che risale ripida l'ultimo tratto del percorso sino alla Punta Arpisson (mt. 3032). A questo punto volgiamo a destra percorrendo per un primo tratto la dorsale; giunti nei pressi di un risalto proseguiamo il nostro traverso mantenendoci sulla destra dello spartiacque. Il percorso non è assolutamente segnalato per cui cerchiamo di perdere il minor numero possibile di metri di dislivello. Dopo alcuni saliscendi attraversiamo un canalone detritico che tosto attraversiamo in corrispondenza di una piccola cengetta portandoci in corrispondenza di una crestina rocciosa. Quivi giunti prendiamo a salire in maniera più diretta lasciandoci sulla destra la crestina e percorriamo una rampa che ha termine ad una forcella; volgendo a destra ci inerpichiamo sulla Punta Coppi Sudovest (mt. 3170) per poi discendere lungo il lato opposto. L'arrampicata in sè non è difficile ma la qualità della roccia richiede un pochino di cautela pur offrendo passaggi piuttosto divertenti.
