Seguendo le indicazioni per il parco Orsiera-Rocciavrè si attraversa l'intero abitato e si imbocca una strada che, con numerosi tornanti, risale il fianco della montagne poste alle spalle del paese. Ad un bivio piegare a sinistra lasciando sulla destra le indicazioni per la Certosa di Montebenedetto. Dal valico volgiamo a sinistra percorrendo la facile dorsale erbosa fino alla sommità della Punta Costabruna (mt. 2401). Riguadagnata la depressione del colle del Vento risaliamo l'opposto pendio, anch'esso erboso, che adduce senza difficoltà ai 2277 metri del Monte Muretto. Sempre continuando sul filo dell'ampia cresta perdiamo dislivello sino alla depressione tra il Monte Muretto ed il vicino Monte Salancia. La dorsale erbosa, sempre di elementare percorrenza, culmina con i 2036 metri di quest'ultimo.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight:
