Carlo (mt.1951) imbocchiamo lo sterrato che si inoltra nel bosco. Giunti ad un bivio prendiamo a destra il sentiero (segnavia 16) che sale al Col de la Croix. Dal valico volgiamo a sinistra seguendo tracce di sentiero che si inerpicano dapprima lungo la cresta e, in un secondo tempo, un poco a destra della dorsale. Più in alto ci spostiamo sulla sinistra del filo pervenendo ricovero Ten. Ticchioni (mt. 2788) ubicato nei pressi di una depressione. Da qui in poi il percorso si fa un pochino più accidentato e si snoda tra pietraie e brevi saltini rocciosi. Numerosi ometti in pietra ci aiutano nella giusta scelta dell'itinerario e, scavalcata la quota 3020 raggiungiamo il ricovero Ten. Chabloz. Sempre procedendo lungo la dorsale ci portiamo in breve alla base delle roccette che difendono i 3024 metri della cima del Monte Colmet. Riguadagnato il Col de la Croix risaliamo facilmente l'erboso pendio meridionale della Punta della Croce toccandone in breve i 2478 metri della sommità.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Riportatici nuovamente al Col de la Croix volgiamo a destra imboccando il sentiero (segnavia 17) che discende al sottostante lago d'Arpy (mt. 2066). A questo punto percorriamo il comodo sentiero che, con andamento pressochè pianeggiante, ci riconduce facilmente al Colle S. Carlo.
