Poco prima del Col du Petit Ferret pieghiamo a sinistra seguendo la facile ed evidente traccia sino al bivacco Fiorio (mt.2780 - h 2 30'). Il giorno seguente, orientandoci alla meglio con i numerosi ometti in pietra, superiamo il tratto di morena posto subito sul retro della costruzione. Di lì a poco tocchiamo la superficie del ghiacciaio di Prè de Bar volgendo a sinistra per un buon tratto. Giunti in prossimità di un settore di rocce affioranti prendiamo a salire in maniera più diretta superando in tal modo un tratto un poco più ripido. A questo punto volgiamo a sinistra guadagnando un'ampia conca che progressivamente attraversiamo per andare ad afferrare la cresta meridionale della nostra montagna. Aggirati alcuni crepacci e superata una gobba un pò più ripida delle altre ci portiamo in vista dell'insellatura posta tra il Mont Dolent ed il Monte Grapillon. Da qui ci dirigiamo alla base di un ripido canale di rocce tutt'altro che solide e lo risaliamo fino al suo culmine. Un ultimo tratto di cresta stretta ma non difficile adduce infine ai 3819 metri del Mont Dolent (3 h 30' dal bivacco). <u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span>
