Giunti al valico volgiamo a sinistra risalendo il detritico versante della cima Fourneaux (mt. 3207) che tosto scavalchiamo senza seguire un percorso obbligato. Tenendoci per lo pi sul versante destro del pendio proseguiamo tosto in direzione dell'ormai vicina Punta Sommeiller (mt. 3332). Dalla seconda sommità continuiamo in direzione nordest dapprima in leggera discesa, fino ad una sottostante conca nevosa, e poi in salita dove un ultimo tratto di elementare cresta ci consente di toccare i 3264 metri del Monte Ambin. A questo punto discendiamo direttamente il versante meridionale della montagna dopodichè pieghiamo progressivamente a destra attraversando un tranquillo nevaio fino a ritornare al passo dei Fourneaux. Dal passo (presso il quale si trova un piccolo ricovero) risaliamo la cresta detritica in direzione ovest dove in breve tocchiamo pure la Punta Galambra (mt. 3121- ore 4 30').<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Sul lato opposto della Punta Galambra discendiamo una cresta detritica sino ai 2901 del sottostante passo di Valfredda, dal quale puntiamo direttamente alla macchina sfruttando al meglio alcune lingue di neve che in poco tempo ci conducono verso il fondo del vallone.
