Volgendo a destra ci portiamo nei pressi del rio Colombieres salvo poi prendere a salire in maniera decisamente più diretta mantenendoci grosso modo sulla verticale delle Rocce del Rouit. Nell'ultimo tratto pieghiamo a sinistra attraverso sfasciumi e rocce rotte per poi portarci a ridosso della cresta che divide la nostra montagna dalla vicina Rognosa del Sestriere. Piegando a destra rimontiamo le ultime roccette che culminano con i 3134 metri delle Rocce del Rouit. Dirigendoci a sudest seguiamo la non difficile cresta che ci separa dalla cima del Monte Platasse (mt. 3149). La cresta che scende verso sud non offre altra difficolt che non sia quella della scelta del miglior itinerario fino ad una marcata depressione. La risalita dell'opposto pendio si rivela invece molto meno semplice e ci costringe ad un paio di non elementari passaggi sul versante della Val Troncea. In seguito la pendenza si abbatte ed il pendio culmina con i 3063 metri del Monte Giornalet. Spostandoci qui sul versante della Valle Argentera, ora sul filo di cresta, continuiamo la traversata toccando dapprima la Cima Fauri Nord (mt. 2937) e poi la Cima Fauri Sud (mt. 2973). La cresta piega ora bruscamente verso ovest e prende a scendere in maniera più decisa. Toccato il punto di massima depressione ricominciamo quindi a guadagnare dislivello lungo il roccioso pendio e toccare infine i 2694 metri delle Rocce Platasse.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Piegando a destra ci abbassiamo verso il sottostante valloncello occupato dal rio Colombieres lungo il quale digradiamo verso valle.
