Superato Ruisseau des Pariotes su di un ponte ci innalziamo lungo la destra idrografica delle sorgenti Superiori dell'Arc. Piegando a destra ci abbassiamo di qualche metro attraversando il torrente in prossimità di un paio di grossi roccioni. Toccata l'opposta sponda risaliamo il soprastante pendio toccando il ghiacciaio des Sources de l'Arc e, con un ampio semicerchio verso sinistra, aggiriamo il bacino glaciale sottostante puntando poi decisamente verso i 3050 metri dell'evidente insellatura del col Girard. Anzichè toccare il valico raggiungiamo la cresta sud-ovest della nostra punta in maniera più diretta toccando la dorsale alcune decine di metri più in alto. Percorrendo la dorsale mantenendoci un poco a sinistra del filo ci innalziamo sino alle ultime roccette che caratterizzano la Punta Girard (mt. 3262). Riguadagnato il valico percorriamo orizzontalmente il ghiacciaio per un tratto onde aggirare il primo risalto roccioso della cresta. Per un pendio nevoso un pò ripido intercalato da alcuni saltini rocciosi guadagnamo quindi il filo della cresta. Giunti nei pressi di un secondo risalto lo aggiriamo sulla destra riportandoci successivamente sulla linea dello spartiacque. Di qui in poi la pendenza si abbatte ed un'ultima serie di più semplici passaggi ci conduce sui 3260 metri della Punta Clavarino.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Lungo l'opposto versante ci abbassiamo lungo pendii nevosi in direzione del col Martellot. Anzichè toccare la depressione raggiungiamo il sottostante ghiacciaio costeggiando alla base la cresta settentrionale della Punta Clavarino. Con un paio di saliscendi ci portiamo sul bordo occidentale del Lac des Sources Inferieures abbassandoci quindi lungo la destra orografica dell'omonimo torrente. Giunti nei pressi della sua confluenza con il ramo destro dell'Arc guadiamo il corso d'acqua in maniera un pò rocamolesca avvalendoci di una serie di grossi blocchi rocciosi. Sull'opposta sponda percorriamo una traccia di sentiero che ci porta in breve a ricongiungerci con l'itinerario di salita.</font></span><font size="2"><span style="font-weight: 700"><p> </span></font>
