Il sentiero supera un boschetto di faggi oltre il quale ci lasciamo sulla sinistra il rifugio per risalire gli ampi pendii che conducono alla dorsale che tocchiamo un buon tratto oltre una costruzione isolata ben visibile che ci lasciamo invece sulla destra. Aggirato sulla destra un cocuzzolo transitiamo nei pressi degli impianti di risalita di "Garessio 2000" dopodichè riprendiamo a salire in maniera più decisa seguendo sempre la dorsale. Attraversato un tratto di arbusti e superata un'anticima ci abbassiamo ad una depressione donde guadagnamo in breve il vicino Monte Grosso (mt. 2007 - 2h 30'). Abbassandoci lungo l'opposto versante, un pò più ripido, discendiamo sino alla sottostante Colla Bassa (mt. 1846). A questo punto affrontiamo in maniera diretta i ripidi pendii innevati che culminano con i 2144 metri del Monte Antoroto (4 h) tenendoci sulla nostra sinistra.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Procedendo per un tratto lungo lo spartiacque in direzione ovest ci portiamo nei pressi di una larga depressione dalla quale, abbassandoci sulla destra, discendiamo per un pò in maniera diretta. Superato in tal modo il tratto più ripido pieghiamo progressivamente a destra puntando alla Colla Bassa; quivi giunti volgiamo a destra, in direzione est, sino ad incrociare un largo sentiero che si abbassa tra i faggi. Lasciataci sulla sinistra la diramazione per il rifugio Savona (palina in legno) continuiamo la discesa piegando progressivamente a sinistra. Superati alcuni ruscelletti guadagnamo la sinistra orografica del vallone dove un lungo traverso a mezzacosta ci riconduce alla fontana della borgata presso la quale, all'andata, avevamo abbandonato la strada principale.
