Qui il percorso si indirizza a sinistra, tagliando il pendio con andamento quasi orizzontale. Il sentiero si mantiene bello e comodo fino alle rocce ed alle lingue di neve che incontriamo nei pressi del colle Biancetta (mt. 2901). Dalla depressione aggiriamo sulla sinistra la bella silouette del Roc della Niera portandoci quindi alla base di un evidente canalone. Con faticosa ascesa ci manteniamo sulla destra idrografica dello stesso, procedendo su un pendio di rocce rotte salvo piegare poi a destra al suo culmine guadagnando in tal modo la base del Roc. Così facendo abbiamo praticamente aggirato di 180° la nostra montagna ed ora ci lasciamo sulla destra la sua bella piramide sommitale. Dopo facili rocce ed un breve canalino pieghiamo a destra percorrendo una stretta cengia e per vaghe tracce di sentiero ci portiamo alla base di un diedro di buona roccia (II grado). Al suo culmine traversiamo ancora a destra toccando una forcella e procedendo poi su un'ultimo tratto di cresta che con divertente arrampicata ci permette di raggiungere la vetta del Roc della Niera (mt. 3177). Tornati alla base della piramide sommitale affrontiamo direttamente il canale, senza più aggirarlo. Così facendo ci ricongiungiamo con l'itinerario di salita proprio nei pressi del colle Biancetta. Seguiamo fedelmente il sentiero fino a poco prima del Pelvo, ove lo abbandoniamo a beneficio di una traccia di sentiero tramite la quale tocchiamo anche i 3021 metri del Pelvo. <u><br> <br>
