Esso, sempre largo ed evidente, costeggia la destra idrografica del vallone toccando alcuni casolari diroccati prima di abbassarsi ad attraversarlo in prossimità di una piccola conca. Giunti sull'opposto versante esso sale con numerosi tornanti sino al rifugio DAVISO (mt. 2280). Con un ampio semicerchio verso destra continuiamo lungo il sentiero sino a toccare la depressione del Colle della Fea (mt. 2595). Qui il sentiero diventa una traccia che, piegando a destra, sale a ripide svolte verso il soprastante Ghiacciaio della Levanna che tocchiamo presso un settore di rocce montonate. Volgendo leggermente verso destra ed aggirando alla meglio diversi crepacci ci portiamo alla base di una bastionata rocciosa. Il percorso non è evidente e noi superiamo l'ostacolo procedendo dapprima verticalmente, quindi piegando a destra per andare ad afferrare una marcata costola su cui troviamo anche alcuni ometti in pietra. Procedendo lungo la costola stessa attraversiamo (ancora verso destra) un piccolo nevaio puntando direttamente ad un un marcato intaglio posto tra due punte. A questo punto risaliamo le rocce sulla destra aggirando la punta più alta e quindi risaliamo senza più difficoltà verso la cresta.
