Poco oltre le case imbocchiamo il comodo sentiero (segnavia "12" marcato con vernice) che si stacca sulla sinistra e procede verso ovest passando accanto a numerosi casolari isolati. Ad un primo bivio prendiamo a destra (indicazione: laghi) ed altrettano facciamo anche al bivio successivo. Suparata una piccola gola ci lasciamo sulla destra la conca occupata dal laghetto Liamau e, piegando a sinistra, percorriamo un valloncello caratterizzato da rocce montonate raggiungendo un'ampia radura. A questo punto volgiamo per un tratto a destra dopodichè abbandoniamo il sentiero ed iniziamo la risalita del pendio di erba e rocce; tenendoci sempre quanto più alti possibile attraversiamo un avallamento per guadagnare la base del tratto terminale. Dapprima puntiamo verso un canale che costeggia alla base un settore roccioso che ci lasciamo sulla sinistra quindi, tenendoci sempre un poco sulla sinistra, guadagnamo i 2820 metri del Monfandi (5h da Fondo). In discesa percorriamo a ritroso l'itinerario dell'andata ma, prima di imboccare il canalino, ci spostiamo decisamente a sinistra scendendo verso la conca sottostante. Senza raggiungerne il fondo manteniamo un percorso quanto più pianeggiante possibile puntando verso un paio di settori di rocce lisce che attraversiamo per poi risalire sulla sinistra in direzione di una forcella. Abbassatici per qualche metro sul versante opposto compiamo un traverso in leggera salita per poi guadagnare più rapidamente dislivello su erba e roccette sino a raggiungere lo spartiacque. Piegando a destra superiamo le ultime roccette che precedono Punta Liamau (mt. 2734 - 6h e 15').<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Anzichè percorrere a ritroso l'itinerario di salita procediamo lungo la cresta in direzione nord sino a portarci al cospetto di un ripido salto roccioso. Con qualche cautela supplementare discendiamo ancora per un tratto lungo lo spartiacque salvo poi abbassarci decisamente sulla destra (versante Valchiusella) in direzione dei laghetti della Buffa; nei pressi delpiù orientale di essi imbocchiamo il sentiero che, sempre contrassegnato da tacche di vernice rossa e bianca, si abbassa sino all'alpe Lion (mt. 1635) dove ritroviamo la strada sterrata che conduce dapprima a Tallorno e poi a Fondo.</font></span><font size="2"><span style="font-weight: 700"><p> </span></font> <font face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Discesa:</span><span style="font-weight: 400"> Il percorso da noi seguito in discesa non è molto intuitivo.
