A questo punto prendiamo a salire direttamente lungo il pendio; dopo un tratto un pò più pianeggiante affrontiamo la parte più ripida del percorso puntando direttamente alla cima del Monte Birrone (mt. 2131). Percorrendo la larga cresta occidentale tocchiamo i 1700 metri del Colle Birrone dopodichè imbocchiamo la comoda mulattiera che, sulla destra del pendio, risale il medesimo con lunghi tornanti. Giunti invista dell'ampia insellatura posta tra il Monte Rastcias ed il MonteCiarm abbandoniamo la rotabile salendo direttamente in mezzo ai larici toccando la cresta dalla quale, volgendo a destra ci portiamo in breve sulla sommittà del Monte Ciarm (mt. 2076). Dalla cima ritorniamo sui nostri passi continuando poi lungo ladorsale. Il percorso si mantiene di elementare percorrenza sino sui 2041 metri del Monte Longia.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Dall'ultima cima discendiamo lungo il pendio meridionale (facile ma a tratti un pochino ripido) sino ad un'evidente selletta. Di qui pieghiamoa sinistra discendendo un largo canalone, boscoso nell'ultima sua parte. Attraversato un ruscello e transitati nei pressi delle Grange del Fenu puntiamo dritti alla borgata Chesta dalla quale, seguendo il tracciato della strada, raggiungiamo in breve il punto di partenza
