A questo punto imbocchiamo il sentiero (segnavia 13) che prende a salire in maniera più decisa lasciandosi sulla destra la diramazione per la Finestra di Tsan; dopo un'ultima serie di tornanti volgiamo a sinistra guadagnando la bella conca che ospita il lago Luseney ed il bivacco Reboulaz (mt. 2572 - 2 h 45') di fronte al quale si trova una fontana. Il secondo giorno ci lasciamo sulla sinistra il lago Luseney dirigendoci verso un breve valloncello nevoso sito sulla destra (salendo) dell'evidente morena ubicata tra la Becca d'Arbière e la Becca di Luseney. Raggiunto il punto più basso sella cresta sud-est risaliamo le roccette site sulla destra idrografica di un canalino di rocce scure; poco oltre guadagnamo un ampio settore di rocce rotte e, piegando a destra, andiamo a guadagnare il filo della cresta. Seguendone il filo o mantenendoci a tratti sulla destra del medesimo, ci portiamo alla base di un gendarme che aggiriamo sulla sinistra progredendo, nell'ultimissima parte, pressocchè in piano. A questo punto un salto roccioso (fettuccia in loco per la discesa a corda doppia) ci costringe all'unico tiro di corda della giornata. Superato l'ostacolo prendiamo nuovamente a seguire il filo della dorsale e a tratti, come nella prima parte, ci teniamo un poco in basso sulla destra. Scavalcato il punto in cui la nostra cresta si interseca con la traccia della via normale, proveniente dal colle di Luseney, proseguiamo verso i 3504 metri della cima omonima (2 h 45' dal bivacco)
