Poco oltre attraversa un torrente e si inoltra nel vallone volgendo decisamente a destra. Appena superato un ponte abbandoniamo la rotabile innalzandoci direttamente lungo il pendio mantenendo la sinistra idrografica del valloncello e raggiungendo così la conca che ospita l'alpeggio di Champanement (mt. 2318). A questo punto pieghiamo a destra toccando il colle di Chaleby (mt. 2683) e successivamente ci abbassiamo lungo l'opposto versante portandoci alla base della nostra montagna. Mantenendoci sulla sinistra del filo di cresta raggiungiamo un breve saltino roccioso oltre il quale la pendenza si attenua; pochi minuti e tocchiamo i 2709 metri del Monte Morion.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Dalla cima ci abbassiamo lungo la cresta orientale transitando nei pressi di un alpeggio e poi seguendo un sentiero che si abbassa tra i larici andando infine ad incrociare la strada che congiunge Porliod a Lignan.
