Seguendo dapprima numerosi ometti in pietra e successivamente le ripide svolte di un sentiero raggiungiamo il rifugio Vaccarone (mt. 2743). Il giorno successivo, sempre guidati attraverso la morena dagli ometti in pietra, ci dirigiamo verso il ghiacciaio dell'Agnello attraverso il quale accediamo all'omonimo colle (mt. 3090). Dalla depressione volgiamo a destra. Ad un primo scrimolo un pò più ripido fa seguito un tratto di rocce rotte in cui la pendenza si abbatte un poco. Tenendoci prevalentemente sulla sinistra del pendio andiamo a prendere un canale detritico che adduce ad una marcata depressione. A questo punto ci portiamo sulla destra del pendio attraversandolo, diagonalmente, in leggera salita. Raggiunta una breve cresta di rocce rotte volgiamo a sinistra e la percorriamo fino in cima alla Rocca d'Ambin (mt. 3377). Dopo essere tornati sui nostri passi fino al colle dell'Agnello tagliamo alla base la sagoma dell'omonima punta mantenendo un percorso pressochè orizzontale. Giunti grosso modo sulla verticale della cima cominciamo la risalita procedendo su di un pendio di rocce rotte in cui non siamo praticamente mai costretti a passaggi obbligati. Il pendio culmina con i 3180 metri della Punta dell'Agnello. Volgendo a sudest perdiamo dislivello fino al punto di massima depressione tra la nostra punta e la vicina Punta Ferrand (mt. 3348). Risaliamo verso il punto culminante di quest'ultima lungo una dorsale di detriti e rocce rotte. Poco prima della cima ci spostiamo leggermente sulla nostra destra ma la nostra ultima meta odierna non è ormai più lontana.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Ridiscesi fino alla depressione tra la Punta Ferrand e la Punta dell'Agnello puntiamo decisamente a destra e, lungo rade lingue di neve compatta, ci portiamo al sottostante valloncello morenico.
