La cresta opposta si mantiene di elementare percorrenza fino al sottostante passo Frappier. Poco oltre tocchiamo una seconda depressione presso la quale vi è un piccolo ricovero. A questo punto traversiamo l'intero versante est del Gran Queyron mantenendoci pressochè in piano sino ad abbordare la cresta che divide la suddetta cima dalla vicina Punta Rasin. Puntiamo quindi decisamente verso quest'ultima e la cresta non ci oppone che un paio di divertenti passaggi prima di raggiungere i 2973 metri della cima. Ritornati sui nostri passi ripercorriamo la cresta poc'anzi superata per poi affrontare direttamente il detritico pendio che, senza percorso obbligato, conduce direttamente in vetta al Gran Queyron (mt. 3060).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Dal Gran Queyron puntiamo, per un breve tratto, in direzione del passo Frappier salvo poi abbandonare la cresta a beneficio di alcune lingue di ottima neve che costituiscono una piacevole scorciatoia.
