In breve tocchiamo la costruzione del cosiddetto Baraccon des Chamois e, sempre su buon sentiero, giungiamo nei pressi di un ponte di legno. Qui prendiamo a sinistra, lasciandoci ben presto sulla destra il lago Lavoir. Dopo una balza un pò più ripida la pendenza si attenua e, toccati dapprima i laghi della Gran Tempesta e poi il lago Chardonnet, raggiungiamo il colle soprastante. Dalla depressione volgiamo a destra dove una facile cresta ci consente il raggiungimento della Rocca du Chardonnet (mt. 2947). Riguadagnata la depressione iniziamo la nostra traversata vera e propria puntando a sudest e percorrendo una cresta di neve e roccette che culmina con i 2943 metri delle Rocce dell'Aquila. Sempre dirigendoci a nordest scavalchiamo un rilievo della cresta dopo il quale la pendenza si attenua. Un ultimo strappo e siamo sulla Rocca della Gran Tempesta (mt. 3002), il punto più elevato in programma oggi. Il crinale ora digrada un pò ma si mantiene di facile percorrenza e dopo un pendio nevoso tocchiamo anche la Rocca della Piccola Tempesta (mt. 2973). A questo punto seguiamo la cresta che si dirige verso sud e che, dopo aver toccato i 2905 metri del passo du Lac Blanc, prende a salire un poco più ripida fino all'ormai vicino Pic du Lac Blanc (mt. 2980)<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Lungo la stessa cresta procediamo a ritroso fino a raggiungere la depressione tra la Rocca della Piccola Tempesta e la Roccia Bianca. Qui ci caliamo direttamente lungo un pendio innevato.
