Oltrepassato un alpeggio (mt. 1623) e costeggiata una bella cascata la vegetazione si fa più rada e la pendenza si attenua. Giunti in vista di un pilone votivo puntiamo decisamente verso di esso accedendo in tal modo alla splendida conca occupata dal Lac d'en Bas di Laures sulle cui rive sorge il rifugio Menabrèaz (mt. 2542 h. 3,30). Ci permettiamo di segnalare le ottime condizioni del ricovero, dotato peraltro di luce, di acqua corrente, di stufa a legna e di fornello a gas. Dopo aver pernottato al rifugio (è buona norma lasciare un'offerta), il giorno successivo imbocchiamo una traccia di sentiero che ha origine nei pressi di alcuni ruderi e che all'origine non è di facile individuazione. Poco più in alto esso compie un traverso a destra e va ad esaurirsi nei pressi di una fascia rocciosa oltrepassata la quale accediamo ad un canale detritico che faticosamente risaliamo. Allorchè questo si restringe pieghiamo a destra pervenendo in breve ai 3025 metri del colle di Salè. Dalla depressione volgiamo a destra e percorriamo il pendio di rocce rotte che più in alto si restringe progressivamente. Giunti al cospetto delle ultime roccette la cresta si restringe sensibilmente e con divertente arrampicata ne seguiamo il filo toccando infine la cima della Petite Rouese (mt. 3279). Riguadagnato il colle di Salè risaliamo l'opposto versante che non oppone alcuna difficoltà sino ai 3137 metri della Becca di Salè (h. 3,15).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Lungo l'itinerario di salita.
