Questo è situato sulla destra idrografica del vallone, nei pressi dell'imbocco di un canalone, ed ha origine con un breve tratto di cavo metallico. Dopo un paio di balze un pochino più ripide accediamo ad una cengia che percorriamo per un buon tratto salvo poi abbandonarla per piegare a sinistra dove un secondo breve tratto attrezzato ci conduce nei pressi di una bella forcella. Qui ritroviamo i cavi metallici che progressivamente si innalzano piegando verso sinistra; un ultimo settore non attrezzato ci permette di guadagnare l'accesso alla cresta finale tramite una facile strettoia. Piegando a destra in pochissimi minuti tocchiamo la Cima di Mezzo del Sassopiatto (mt. 2958). Lungo l'opposto versante si sviluppa un evidente sentiero; percorsi un paio di tornanti lo abbandoniamo per compiere un lungo traverso a sinistra. Facili roccette e vaghe tracce tra i detriti ci conducono alla forcella sita tra le due cime poco oltre la quale la pendenza si accentua un pò. Poco oltre un terrazzino traversiamo brevemente a destra su rocce per imboccare un breve canalino, stretto ma di facile percorrenza, che ha termine a poca distanza dai 2964 metri della Cima Sud-Est del Sassopiatto.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400">Il dislivello complessivo della salita tiene conto di alcuni saliscendi che si è costretti a compiere per spostarsi dal rifugio Sassopiatto al Passo Sella.<br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Riguadagnato il sentiero lo percorriamo sino a discendere al rifugio SASSOPIATTO (mt. 2300) ove volgiamo a sinistra (palina segnaletica) per imboccare il sentiero che taglia a mezzacosta tutto il fianco della montagna. Tramite esso sbuchiamo su di una strada sterrata che ci condurrà alla stazione di partenza della cabinovia.</font></span><font size="2"><span style="font-weight: 700"><p> </span></font> <font
