Il sentiero costeggia numerose casette sparse e si mantiene comodo ed evidente sino all'alpe Finestre (mt. 1731); le uniche segnalazioni degne di nota sono un paio di guadi che si incontrano lungo il percorso. Poco dopo l'alpe, prima di raggiungere la Bocchetta del Croso, volgiamo a destra e con un lungo traverso ci lasciamo sulla destra l'alpe Giasset (mt. 1920) poco oltre il quale la pendenza aumenta un pò. Sempre cercando di procedere lungo le linee di pendenze più morbide raggiungiamo una conca che attraversiamo verso destra per poi puntare direttamente alla cresta soprastante. Le cornici presenti, unite ad un pò di esposizione, ci costringono a mentenerci sulla destra dello spartiacque sino ad un punto in cui riusciamo a raggiungere in maniera quasi diretta la Punta del Talamone (mt. 2488 - 5h 15') sfruttando contemporaneamente un ripido pendio di neve e delle rocce rotte.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400">In assenza di neve la difficoltà dell'intera salita può considerarsi E.<br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Per un breve tratto percorriamo la cresta sud, in direzione della vicina Cima del Bò, abbassandoci poi sulla destra in corrispondenza di un ripido scivolo di neve oltre il quale ci teniamo un pò sulla sinistra perdendo quota in maniera piuttosto rapida. Giunti nei pressi di una gola pieghiamo invece a destra e, superato un ruscello, per erba e rocce puntiamo decisamente verso il sentiero percorso in salita il quale è ormai ben visibile nel
