Allorché incrociamo la mulattiera che taglia il pendio sulla sinistra e che porta al rifugio Avanzà pieghiamo invece a destra e percorriamo la facile cresta che adduce alla Punta Mulatera (mt.2544). Disceso l'opposto versante andiamo ad afferrare il versante meridionale della Punta Toasso Bianco e, senza percorso obbligato, lo risaliamo facilmente sino al vertice (mt. 2622). Piegando leggermente a sinistra discendiamo il sottostante pendio di sfasciumi per puntare quindi in piano sino al rifugio Avanzà (mt. 2574). Mantenendoci leggermente a sinistra cominciamo la risalita dei nevosi pendii alle spalle della costruzione puntando progressivamente verso la cresta che si trova, appunto, sulla nostra sinistra. La seguiamo per un tratto ritrovando poi le tracce di una vecchia mulattiera militare che tosto risaliamo sino alla Punta Tricuspide (mt. 2880). <u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Ridiscesi fino al rifugio Avanzà imbocchiamo la mulattiera che ne costituisce la normale via di accesso.
