A questo punto volgiamo a sud e, poco prima del Pian Goè, ci portiamo alla base di un canale innevato che risaliamo per intero. Oltre il canale la pendenza si abbatte decisamente a noi volgiamo a destra raggiungendo una cresta in prossimità di una depressione della medesima. Volgendo a destra per un tratto ci abbassiamo, sull'opposto pendio, nel sottostante valloncello sfruttando un ripido canalino innevato. Attraversato (ovest) il valloncello ci portiamo alla base di una rampa orientata da sinistra a destra. Essa ci porta nei pressi della cima: lasciatoci sulla sinistra un colletto puntiamo tosto alla cresta che ci sovrasta e, una volta raggiuntala, volgiamo a sinistra mantenendoci un poco a sinistra del filo e toccando così i 2299 metri della Rocca Tovo.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Dalla cima puntiamo direttamente al colletto evitato poco prima. Poco prima di raggiungerlo ci portiamo sul fondo di un canale poco inclinato e lo seguiamo sino a che esso piega a destra e la pendenza si abbatte. Giunti sul bordo della scarpata che domina il Pian della Mussa volgiamo a sinistra costeggiando il baratro sino a quando una breve rampa ci consente di raggiungere il bosco sottostante lungo il quale ci abbassiamo. Attraversata la Stura di Ala su di un ponte incrociamo, nei pressi del Pian della Mussa, la rotabile che senza più storia ci conduce dapprima a Balme e poi a Cornetti.</font></span><font
