Al primo bivio volgiamo a destra imboccando lo sterrato che porta ai casolari di Trieves. Seguendo l'ampio sentiero ci manteniamo sulla destra idrografica del vallone pervenendo alla conca posta al suo termine. Piegando a sinistra e seguendo una traccia di sentiero risaliamo il valloncello occupato dal torrentello del Mulinet toccando dapprima la morena e quindi il ghiacciaio omonimo. Volgendo progressivamente a sinistra ci dirigiamo verso l'evidente insellatura del Colle di Trieves che tosto tocchiamo. Dal valico ci dirigiamo a sinistra (ovest) e superata un'antecima, cui fa seguito una piccola depressione, seguiamo la non difficile cresta che culmina con i 3061 metri dell'Ouille Est di Trieves. Mantenendoci preferibilmente sulla sinistra del crinale ci abbassiamo fino alla successiva depressione e, sempre in direzione ovest, riprendiamo a salire sino alla Ouille Centrale di Trieves (mt. 3054). Il percorso non è mai obbligato ma la ricerca del passaggio più semplice non è sempre intuitiva. Per non difficili rocce ci abbassiamo nuovamente per un tratto aggirando sulla sinistra gli ostacoli maggiori. L'ultimo tratto di cresta prima del successivo intaglio lo evitiamo compiendo, ancora sulla sinistra, un breve traverso pressochè pianeggiante una volta giunti grosso modo all'altezza della depressione. La successiva risalita presenta ancora qualche difficoltà relativa alla ricerca dell'itinerario. Una prima serie di risalti la superiamo sulla sinistra mentre un successivo ostacolo lo vinciamo sulla sua destra toccando infine i 3013 metri dell'Ouille Ovest di Trieves.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Dall'ultima sommità ci abbassiamo direttamente lungo il versante occidentale della montagna. Ad un primo tratto caratterizzato da grossi blocchi intercalati da salti rocciosi si sostituisce più in basso un terreno erboso-detritico.
