Dopo poche centinaia di metri abbandoniamo la mulattiera a beneficio di un sentiero che taglia a sinistra mantenendosi alto sul Pian del Re. Dopo aver superato con diversi tornanti un paio di pendii, esso piega poi a destra raggiungendo quindi il rifugio il quale sorge proprio alla base di Punta Udine. Dopo esserci legati affrontiamo la cresta incombente sul rifugio progredendo in un canalino poco marcato che la incide sul suo lato sinistro. Brevi passaggi su roccia ci conducono ad un passaggio un pochino ostico (chiodo in posto) cui fa seguito un tratto di semplice percorrenza. Una cengia poco marcata sembra voler tagliare completamente a sinistra ma in realtà ci porta fuori strada. Pieghiamo allora sulla nostra destra direttamente verso l'alto sino a che non raggiungiamo nuovamente il filo di cresta. Percorrerlo è divertente ed esso va ad esaurirsi contro una ripida paretina che culmina con i 3022 metri di Punta Udine. Dalla cima discendiamo per roccette sino all'insellatura del couloir del Porco, da cui iniziamo la risalita della traccia che risale la vicina Punta Venezia. Un ultimissimo passaggio un pochino esposto ed anch'essa è raggiunta (mt. 3095 - 4 h).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br>
