Aggirata per intero la sagoma del Monte Bieteron, che ci lasciamo sulla sinistra, raggiungiamo un bivio posto in corrispondenza dei laghi d'Estoul (mt. 2447) e proseguiamo sulla diramazione di sinistra (segnavia 6A") lasciandoci lo specchio d'acqua sulla destra. Ben presto ci lasciamo sulla sinistra il secondo lago guadagnando dapprima un colletto e poi, piegando a destra, tocchiamo con tutta facilità i 2754 metri della Punta Valnera. Riguadagnato il colletto ci abbassiamo brevemente lungo l'opposto versante (segnavia "5") salvo abbandonare il sentiero principale a beneficio della diramazione (segnavia "5C") che si diparte sulla destra puntando al Passo Valnera (mt. 2676). A questo punto pieghiamo a sinistra sempre seguendo i segni gialli nonchè i numerosi ometti in pietra; tenendoci un poco sulla sinistra della dorsale raggiungiamo così anche la Punta Valfredda (mt.
