Qui riprendono i tornanti che in breve ci portano a superare le Grange del Vallone. Il passo della Roccia Verde (mt. 2818) con i suoi ruderi di una vecchia casermetta militare è ormai ben visibile nonchè di facile raggiungimento. Volgendo a sinistra arriviamo altrettanto facilmente sulla cima della Roccia Verde (mt. 2852). Ritornati al valico attacchiamo ora la cresta di rocce rotte che adduce ai 3171 metri della Cima del Vallone. Un primo risalto lo aggiriamo sul versante est, dopodichè ne seguiamo il filo fino all'ultimo tratto di facili roccette (5 h 30').<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita:
