A questo punto volgiamo decisamente ad ovest e dopo un paio di saliscendi ed altrettanti guadi di ruscelli attraversiamo un bel pianoro dove, sulla sinistra, ha inizio la traccia di sentiero che risale il pendio dapprima erboso e poi detritico; bollini gialli (bianchi da un certo punto in poi) nonchè numerosi ometti in pietra conducono alla depressione tra la Petite Rochere e la Grande Rochere. Per toccare quest'ultima volgiamo a destra e, seguendo la traccia più a sinistra (presso la cresta) guadagnamo i 3326 metri della Grande Rochere (h 4 da Planaval). Ritornati alla depressione proseguiamo lungo l'opposto filo di cresta e, con un breve passo di arrampicata, tocchiamo la Petite Rochere (mt. 3267). Seguendo la cresta che si dipana in direzione sud ci abbassiamo sino nei presi di un salto roccioso che aggiriamo sulla sinistra per poi riguadagnare nuovamente la dorsale a breve distanza dai 2941 metri del Mont la Varise, cui perveniamo piegando a destra. Proseguendo lungo lo spartiacque ci troviamo nuovamente di fronte ad un evidente muro roccioso che superiamo appena sulla sinistra, sfruttando un settore munito di ottimi appigli cui fa seguito un breve tratto di cresta che precede i 2785 metri della Testa Nera. Ancora un tratto lungo la cresta e poi ci spostiamo sulla destra sfruttando una traccia di sentiero per portarci alla base del Bec d'Aoulie (mt. 2532) che saliamo su terreno erboso-detritico mantenendoci un poco a destra dello spartiacque (h 6 e 30' da Planaval).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Per un breve tratto seguiamo ancora la dorsale, che ora si è fatta più ampia, salvo volgere poi a sinistra seguendo una traccia di sentiero che si abbassa verso l'alpeggio Les Ecùles (mt. 1880). Allorchè esso si perde lungo i pascoli ci teniamo sulla destra per imboccare un canalino prevalentamente erboso; giunti quasi al suo termine, nei pressi di una strettoia, ne usciamo sulla destra e ci portiamo sui pendii erbosi che digradano verso l'alpeggio one incrociamo lo sterrato che percorre la destra idrografica del vallone sino a Planaval.</font></span><font size="2"><span
