Ivi giunti seguiamo la rotabile in direzione del colle della Bettaforca salvo abbandonarlo, dopo una decina di minuti di cammino, a beneficio del sentiero per i laghi di Resy che si diparte sulla sinistra. Una volta usciti dal lariceto il sentiero compie un traverso a destra sino a che, dopo una breve discesa, attraversa il falsopiano occupato dai laghi di Resy. Raggiunto l'ultimo specchio d'acqua riprendiamo a guadagnare dislivello in maniera più decisa; superato un faticoso pendio detritico ancora intervallato da ampie chiazze nevose tagliamo alla base una bastionata rocciosa per guadagnare una sorta di forcella che domina, sull'opposto versante, la conca di Verra. Di qui in poi la salita si fa decisamente più ardita: superati un paio di risalti di roccia di mediocre qualità ci spostiamo per un tratto sulla nostra destra onde evitare un ripido bastione roccioso oltre il quale la pendenza si attenua e culmina con i 3021 metri del Monte Rosso di Verra (4h 30').<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span
