Piegando a sinistra percorriamo invece una serie di tornanti che adducono al colle del Lupo. Dal valico volgiamo a sinistra toccando per elementari roccette la Sommet de la Nunda (mt. 3023). Tornati alla depressione iniziamo a risalire la cresta del Signal du Grand Mont-Cenis. Dopo un tratto più semplice compiamo un traverso pressochè pianeggiante portandoci alla base di un ripido canalino di rocce rotte che sbuca a breve distanza dalla cima (mt. 3377). I nostri progetti per la giornata terminerebbero qui, senonchè la cresta che punta verso il Roncia ed al ben più lontano Lamet ci alletta anzichenò! Un breve conciliabolo ci induce a proseguire e, toccata l'opposta depressione, risaliamo la facile ma lunga cresta (nevosa nell'ultima parte) sino ai 3612 metri del Roncia. Sempre per cresta continuiamo a pestar neve fino alla Pointe du Vieux (mt. 3464). Anche il tratto che conduce ai 3419 metri della Pointe du Chapeau (mt. 3419) non ci oppone difficoltà particolari. A questo punto raggiungiamo una bella selletta nevosa per poi guadagnare nuovamente dislivello verso la Pointe de la Haie. Ad un tratto iniziale pi semplice fa seguito una cresta non troppo lunga ma che presenta alcuni brevi passaggi rocciosi. Di lì a poco tocchiamo i 3452 metri della cima. Il tempo è sensibilmente peggiorato ma la visibilità ci consente di affrontare le rocce che difendono i 3505 metri del Lamet con sufficiente tranquillità. La discesa verso il Signal du Lamet (mt. 3483) si rivela un pochino laboriosa soprattutto a causa della friabilità della roccia. Il raggiungimento del vicino Segnale del Lago (mt. 3428) non ha praticamente storia.<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br>
