Giunti ad un bivio tralasciamo la diramazione di sinistra che porta al passo di Losetta e ci portiamo invece sulla destra passando a poca distanza dal rifugio Vallanta. Qui ci teniamo ancora sulla destra attraversando completamente un pianoro portandoci dapprima al rifugio Gagliardone (mt. 2450) e poi all'imbocco dell'evidente canale che si trova a destra della costruzione. Esso dà accesso all'ampia conca detritica occupata dai resti del ghiacciaio di Vallanta. Risalendone faticosamente la sinistra idrografica ci portiamo alla base del roccioso versante orientale della nostra montagna, a breve distanza dal passo delle Cadreghe. All'incirca al centro del versante si trova una piccola rampa orientata da destra a sinistra e che ci permette di portarci alla base di un ripido canale che risaliamo fino a quando la sua inclinazione non diventa eccessiva. A questo punto pieghiamo a destra e ci avventuriamo lungo una cengia poco marcata salvo abbandonarla nel punto in cui essa maggiormente si avvicina alla cresta sommitale. Per raggiungere quest'ultima ci inerpichiamo direttamente per le ripide rocce che ci sovrastano e che sono comunque abbondantemente munite di appigli. Giunti sulla cresta, ove la pendenza si attenua decisamente, volgiamo a sinistra e tocchiamo i 3348 metri della bella cima del Visolotto. <u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400">La presenza dei due rifugi Vallanta e Gagliardone permettono di spezzare in due l'escursione.<br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Lungo l'itinerario di salita.
