Lasciatoci sulla sinistra gli impianti di risalita puntiamo all'evidente depressione posta sulla sinistra del Prorel, la cui sagoma ormai incombe su di noi. Un facile pendio innevato e poi è già tempo di colazione: siamo sui 2566 della cima. Prima di toccare nuovamente la depressione volgiamo a destra dove una rampa innevata prima ed un sentiero poi, ci consentono di toccare un colle caratterizzato dalla presenza di un altro impianto di risalita. Cambiando versante compiamo un faticoso traverso su neve e, toccata una terza depressione, decidiamo nuovamente di portarci sul versante sud. Ne abbiamo abbastanza della neve! Un secondo traverso, stavolta asciutto, ed eccoci toccare anche il colle di Serre Chevalier (mt. 2383). Anche qui la cresta si rivela di elementare percorrenza e, dopo un paio di balze un pochino più ripide, anche la cima dell'Eychauda è raggiunta (mt. 2659 - 4 h 30').<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Volgendo ora a sudest ci abbassiamo fino a raggiungere il vallone sottostante. Seguendone più o meno fedelmente l'andamento ci congiungiamo con il vallone principale, che ci conduce facilmente ad un ponte e ad una strada sterrata.
