Sempre seguendone la destra idrografica passiamo accanto alle grange del Chiot (mt. 2420) ed alle grange Fons del Rui (mt. 2437) pervenendo ad un ampio pianoro in cui si incontrano due corsi d'acqua. Piegando alla nostra destra risaliamo il pendio erboso senza seguire un percorso obbligato. Raggiunta la cresta volgiamo brevemente a sinistra toccando la cima della Punta di Fiutrusa (mt. 3110). Proseguendo in direzione sud-est e mantenendoci sulla destra della dorsale ci portiamo al sottostante colletto (mt. 3054) presso il quale afferriamo la cresta rocciosa caratterizzata da un paio di placconate. Dapprima ci teniamo sulla destra della cresta salvo passare poi leggermente sulla sua sinistra in prossimità della seconda serie di placconate.
