Da Torvinasse (mt. 1374) volgiamo ad est attraverso i larici e toccando i casolari di Buri (mt. 1620). Proseguendo sempre in direzione est risaliamo il pendio; uscendo dalla vegetazione la pendenza si abbatte e tosto tocchiamo i 2179 metri della Torretta. Seguendo il crinale, ora orientato in direzione NE, raggiungiamo in pochi minuti i 2190 metri del Monte Cavalpiccolo. Dopo una breve discesa superiamo un risalto di roccette un pochino più ripide raggiungendo quindi la successiva depressione. Qui la dorsale si allarga divenendo un largo pendio che non oppone alcuna difficoltà sino alla cima del Monte Cavalgrosso (mt. 2227). La discesa al Colle della Bocchetta (mt. 2186) richiede qualche cautela, non solo per la presenza di neve ma anche per la ripidezza. Oltre la bocchetta l'itinerario torna ad essere di elementare percorrenza ed in breve tocchiamo dapprima il rifugio (mt. 2300) e poi la Colma di Mombarone(mt. 2371). Proseguendo lungo la dorsale tocchiamo in breve anche la non lontana Punta Tre Vescovi (mt. 2347).<u><br> <br> </u></span><span style="font-weight: 700">Note di Salita: </span> <span style="font-weight: 400"><br> <br> </span><b><font color="#927E6D">DISCESA:</font></b></font></font><span style="font-weight: 400"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Per un tratto ripercorriamo le nostre orme dopodichè aggiriamo sulla sinistra la Colma di Mombarone raggiungendo nuovamente il rifugio con percorso pressocchè pianeggiante. Riguadagnato il Colle della Bocchetta volgiamo a destra lungo il largo vallone transitando nei pressi di uno specchio d'acqua. Sempre mantenendoci grosso modo sul fondo del vallone continuiamo a scendere senza mai seguire un vero e proprio percorso obbligato. Poco prima delle case di Garitta (mt. 1700) pieghiamo a sinistra ritornando, seguendo una rotabile, le case di Buri dove ci ricongiungiamo anche con l'itinerario di salita.</font></span><font
