Rousse (mt. 3160); di qui saliamo puntando alla bastionata di roccia che affrontiamo con molta prudenza dato il continuo distaccamento dalla parte sommitale di detriti che martellano continuamente il canalone d'accesso, dopo circa tre ore arriviamo al Rifugio dell'Aiguille du Gouter mt 3817. Il giorno seguente sveglia alle tre e partenza, saliamo dal rifugio verso sud per tracce a volte marcate ed a volte meno, fino alla Capanna Vallot mt.4360 dove inizia la cresta delle Bosses. Proseguiamo facendo particolarmente attenzione all'esposizione che nella parte alta aumenta e ci mette in difficoltà quando incontriamo altre cordate.
